Meet the Team

Brenda

Registered Dental Assistant

Born and raised in Florida, Brenda moved to Texas in 2013 to be closer to family. She has been working in the dental field since 1996 after obtaining her dental assisting certificate and started at Davis Family Dental Care in 2018. She graduated from Concorde Career Institute in Jacksonville, Florida, as a dental assistant and is currently working on getting her dental assisting certification.

Brenda is married to her wonderful husband, Joe, and they have one son, Isaiah, whom they adopted after moving to Texas. Family is very important to Brenda, and that’s one of the reasons she loves working at Davis Family Dental Care: It’s a practice where everyone is treated like part of the family.

Karis

Registered Dental Assistant

Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Karis moved to Virginia in January 2019, where she received her certification in dental radiation safety. When she moved back to Texas in May of the same year, she decided to pursue dental assisting as a career and attended the Texas Academy of Dental Assisting. Karis loves to learn through continuing education and her time with Davis Family Dental Care.

When not at work, Karis loves watching movies with her dog, Bodi, and going to concerts. She’s also a certified makeup artist who worked professionally in the fashion industry for three years, and she is a big fan of slurpees.

Julie

Registered Dental Hygienist

Julie started working in dentistry in 1986 as a dental assistant. She received her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from Texas Woman’s University. She truly enjoys patient care and values the relationships she has developed over the years. Julie joined Davis Family Dental Care back in 2000 (and got married in the same week!).

Julie and her husband, Byron, have two kids, Ashley and Coleton. Outside the office, you’ll find Julie spending time with her family, cooking, and exercising.

Beth

Hygiene Coordinator/Registered Dental Assistant

Known as the lady that has been in the office “forever,” Beth has been with Davis Family Dental Care for 28 years. She is a reigstered dental assistant (RDA) with 33 years of experience in dental assisting, and she’s completed a range of courses with Dr. Paul over the years.

Baseball is Beth’s No. 1 hobby. She volunteers at the Texas Rangers baseball games and loves to travel to other ballparks. She also enjoys fly-fishing and traveling with Bill, her husband of 20 years.

Chenay

Treatment Coordinator

Chenay joined Davis Family Dental Care in 2012, but she has been in the dental field for over 20 years. She enjoys communicating the financial side of dental treatment plans and processes to patients. Most rewarding, Chenay says, is seeing patients smile when their treatment is completed as it brings a great deal of happiness and pride to the whole team.

Outside of work, Chenay enjoys reading, listening to true-crime podcasts, and spending time with her children, Zach (17) and Miracle (13). She also volunteers at her church in the communications department and helps with the production of both live and streamed church services.

Hoang

Registered Dental Hygienist

Hoang Nguyen joined Davis Family Dental Care in 2021. She is a registered dental hygienist who graduated from Tarrant County College. Born and raised in Vietnam, Hoang moved to the US at the age of 14. Newly introduced to dentistry since she moved stateside, she soon fell in love with dentistry and pursued certification as a dental hygienist. She loves her patients and is known for being both cheerful and funny. She counts Davis Family Dental Care as her second family.

Hoang loves spending time with her husband walking, biking, and kayaking. She also loves exploring new cuisines, and karaoke.

Demmie

Vivian

Registered Dental Hygienist

Vivian graduated cum laude from Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene and a minor in General Science. She dreamt about becoming a hygienist ever since she was little going to her dental office for her cleanings. Vivian remembers always leaving with a boost of confidence in herself and her teeth feeling shiny and smooth! So going to work as a Dental Hygienist with Davis Family Dental Care every day is like a dream come true for her. She looks forward to being able to bring a little light into her patients’ days after their cleanings and helping them improve their oral health.

Outside of work, Vivian enjoys hosting game night, going bowling, and playing pool with friends.

She’s engaged to be married in November 2022, and she and her fiancé have two blue heelers, Cash & Izzy.

Brooke

Registered Dental Assistant
Brooke joined Davis Family Dental Care in December 2023 as a Registered Dental Assistant. She graduated from Tarrant County College (TCC) with her RDA certification in 2015 and has over nine years of experience in the field. Plus, she has received her CPR and nitrous oxide certifications. Brooke is passionate about her role and cherishes the community at Davis Family Dental.

Outside of the office, Brooke is deeply involved with her church and loves spending time with her family (particularly her four nephews), especially during the holidays. An avid sports fan, she cheers for basketball, baseball, and Tennessee Vols football. Brooke enjoys pickleball, piano, and various cultural events. You may also find her lost in a book or enjoying time outdoors.
