Meet the Team
Registered Dental Assistant
Born and raised in Florida, Brenda moved to Texas in 2013 to be closer to family. She has been working in the dental field since 1996 after obtaining her dental assisting certificate and started at Davis Family Dental Care in 2018. She graduated from Concorde Career Institute in Jacksonville, Florida, as a dental assistant and is currently working on getting her dental assisting certification.
Brenda is married to her wonderful husband, Joe, and they have one son, Isaiah, whom they adopted after moving to Texas. Family is very important to Brenda, and that’s one of the reasons she loves working at Davis Family Dental Care: It’s a practice where everyone is treated like part of the family.
Registered Dental Assistant
Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Karis moved to Virginia in January 2019, where she received her certification in dental radiation safety. When she moved back to Texas in May of the same year, she decided to pursue dental assisting as a career and attended the Texas Academy of Dental Assisting. Karis loves to learn through continuing education and her time with Davis Family Dental Care.
When not at work, Karis loves watching movies with her dog, Bodi, and going to concerts. She’s also a certified makeup artist who worked professionally in the fashion industry for three years, and she is a big fan of slurpees.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Julie started working in dentistry in 1986 as a dental assistant. She received her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from Texas Woman’s University. She truly enjoys patient care and values the relationships she has developed over the years. Julie joined Davis Family Dental Care back in 2000 (and got married in the same week!).
Julie and her husband, Byron, have two kids, Ashley and Coleton. Outside the office, you’ll find Julie spending time with her family, cooking, and exercising.
Insurance Coordinator
Tracie has been with Davis Family Dental Care since 1996, and she says the team is like her second family. She started in dentistry in the mid ’80s and finds it to be a very rewarding career choice.
Tracie lives with her husband and youngest son in a small rural area where she enjoys a simple life. She loves the outdoors, raises many animals (including a horse, a mule, chickens, and rabbits), and likes growing her own food. When not at work, Tracie loves hanging out with her friends and family, including her husband, Doug, three sons, 12-year-old grandson, and 5-year-old granddaughter.
Hygiene Coordinator/Registered Dental Assistant
Known as the lady that has been in the office “forever,” Beth has been with Davis Family Dental Care for 28 years. She is a reigstered dental assistant (RDA) with 33 years of experience in dental assisting, and she’s completed a range of courses with Dr. Paul over the years.
Baseball is Beth’s No. 1 hobby. She volunteers at the Texas Rangers baseball games and loves to travel to other ballparks. She also enjoys fly-fishing and traveling with Bill, her husband of 20 years.
Treatment Coordinator
Chenay joined Davis Family Dental Care in 2012, but she has been in the dental field for over 20 years. She enjoys communicating the financial side of dental treatment plans and processes to patients. Most rewarding, Chenay says, is seeing patients smile when their treatment is completed as it brings a great deal of happiness and pride to the whole team.
Outside of work, Chenay enjoys reading, listening to true-crime podcasts, and spending time with her children, Zach (17) and Miracle (13). She also volunteers at her church in the communications department and helps with the production of both live and streamed church services.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Hoang Nguyen joined Davis Family Dental Care in 2021. She is a registered dental hygienist who graduated from Tarrant County College. Born and raised in Vietnam, Hoang moved to the US at the age of 14. Newly introduced to dentistry since she moved stateside, she soon fell in love with dentistry and pursued certification as a dental hygienist. She loves her patients and is known for being both cheerful and funny. She counts Davis Family Dental Care as her second family.
Hoang loves spending time with her husband walking, biking, and kayaking. She also loves exploring new cuisines, and karaoke.
Dental Assistant
Amara grew up in Bolivia for half of her childhood and Texas for the other. She discovered an interest in dentistry while doing some college tours and after graduating as a registered dental assistant from Tarrant County College, she decided to take a leap of faith. She has now been with Davis Family Dental Care for two years and in that time has fallen in love with the career even more. Amara greatly enjoys her work, appreciating the positive environment and level of care the team gives their patients.
Married with two fur babies, Amara enjoys running, hiking, singing, writing, and self development.
Demmie
Registered Dental Hygienist
Vivian graduated cum laude from Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene and a minor in General Science. She dreamt about becoming a hygienist ever since she was little going to her dental office for her cleanings. Vivian remembers always leaving with a boost of confidence in herself and her teeth feeling shiny and smooth! So going to work as a Dental Hygienist with Davis Family Dental Care every day is like a dream come true for her. She looks forward to being able to bring a little light into her patients’ days after their cleanings and helping them improve their oral health.
Outside of work, Vivian enjoys hosting game night, going bowling, and playing pool with friends.
She’s engaged to be married in November 2022, and she and her fiancé have two blue heelers, Cash & Izzy.
