We offer digital radiography, which provides minimal radiation exposure, and digital impressions and scanning, in place of older, less desirable techniques. We also use cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT for 3-D imaging) to assist us with implant placement and the detection of bone and tooth anomalies.

Intraoral and Extraoral Digital Photography
A Modern Approach to Family Dentistry
At Davis Family Dental Care, we use the latest technology available in intraoral and extraoral digital photography. Intraoral photos are photos we take of the inside of your mouth, such as your teeth, tissue, and gums. These images not only allow you to see exactly what we see but also provide crucial treatment documentation for insurance purposes. Extraoral photography involves taking images of your profile from different angles. These portraits help your dentist assess and evaluate aesthetics or orthodontics. Both types of patient photographs help your dentist maintain good dental records for you and your family, which is particularly useful for monitoring changes during long-term treatments.
Laser Dentistry

Laser dentistry techniques are now used for a range of dental conditions. Lasers offer a much more comfortable experience for many treatments that otherwise may cause inflammation and a lengthier healing time. We use the laser to sterilize and assist in soft tissue procedures such as periodontal therapy.
